What this site records when you read a page or send a message, which third parties see it, and how to have it removed.
Introduction
This policy explains what trykerpet.org collects when you read a page, submit the contact form, or follow an outbound product link, and what happens to that data afterwards. It covers this website only.
Information We Collect
Two kinds. Data you hand over: the name, email address, subject line, and message body you type into the contact form, plus an email address if you sign up for build alerts. Data collected automatically: browser type, device class, referring page, approximate region derived from IP address, and which pages you opened.
We do not collect payment details. No card ever passes through this site; checkout happens on the retailer page.
How We Use It
Contact-form data answers your message and nothing else. Email addresses given for alerts send new-build notices and spec changes, and carry an unsubscribe link in every send. Aggregate traffic data shows which guidance pages get read so we know what to expand.
Third Parties
Analytics is handled by Google Analytics under its own privacy terms. Product links lead to Amazon, which applies its own privacy policy and its own cookies once you land there. We pass no personal data to either beyond what their scripts collect directly.
How Long We Keep It
Contact-form messages are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Alert-list email addresses stay until you unsubscribe. Aggregate analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Form submissions and stored addresses sit behind access controls on our hosting account. No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Your Rights
Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion. Write from the address you used and we act inside 30 days. Residents of California, the EU, and the UK hold additional statutory rights, which we honour on the same request.
Children's Privacy
This site is written for adults buying outdoor animal housing. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If a child has sent us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to This Policy
Revisions appear on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes to how we handle contact data are announced in the alert email as well.
